Seen and Unseen - Bowers Museum

Photographer Imogen Cunningham’s career covered most of the 20th century. She took photograph’s of celebrities for Vanity Fair as well as subjects of her own interest: street scenes, nudes, dancers and still lives. 60 framed silver gelatin prints of her work are on display at the Bower’s Museum  until February 26th. The Exhibit: Seen and Unseen: Photographs by Imogen Cunningham includes some of her most iconic works as well as those that have rarely if ever been viewed by the public. “Imogen had an incredible aesthetic, and she pursued her vision,” simply put by her granddaughter, Meg Partridge who will be giving a talk on her grandmother at the Museum on December 3rd.
