The Royal Botanic Garden - Madrid, Spain
Botánicas. Per Amor a l'Art Collection 22 Jan - 20 Mar 2022 Fundació Per Amor a l'Art - Bombas Gens invites you to visit the exhibition.
This exhibition, understood as a garden, presents a series of fictions about the plant world based on a selection of works from the Per Amor a l'Art Collection, which shape the reality of flowers and plants beyond their natural condition to become a scientific, ornamental, critical or aesthetic narrative.
The exhibition is an extended version of the original exhibition by Fundació Per Amor a l'Art - Bombas Gens at the Royal Botanic Garden in Madrid thanks to a collaboration with La Fábrica. It will be open until 20 March.
The exhibition will create an "interior garden" in the gallery rooms, entering into dialogue with the Botanical Garden. The exhibition features works by Nobuyoshi Araki, Thomas Ruff, Richard Hamilton, Karl Blossfeldt, Imogen Cunningham, Hans-Peter Feldmann, Eikoh Hosoe, Juan del Junco, Jochen Lempert, Jonas Mekas, Mathieu Mercier, Albert Renger-Patzsch, Alessandra Spranzi and Pierre Verger.
