Imogen rarely left her house without a camera, and was not shy in capturing people on the streets, on in this case, at a show! Her Rollieflex camera was held waist-high to take a photo; inconspicuous because it did not obscure her face.
This print is in excellent condition. Printed within 5 years of the creation of the negative, there is a small dent in the lower right, lower middle of the image. On the verso of the print is the title in Imogen's hand, as well as Imogen's 'Credit To' stamp and 'All Rights Reserved' stamp.
This print was printed by Imogen and gifted to the Imogen Cunningham Trust. It has been preserved in the archive since 1976.
This print comes with a hand letter-pressed Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Meg Partridge, the granddaughter of Imogen and the Director of the Imogen Cunningham Trust. Each print and Certificate carries a unique serial number to identify the print and links the print to the Certificate.
