This Silver Gelatin Estate print from the Imogen Cunningham Trust is made in the traditional darkroom from Imogen's original negative. Matted and mounted on four-ply archival museum board.
FRAMING CHOICE The print can be ordered unframed or framed. UNFRAMED: If the print is ordered unframed, it arrives mounted and over-matted, with the provenance label on the verso, protected in an archival clear sleeve and ready to frame.
FRAMED: Our black wood ash frames are beautifully produced, custom-made frames, made in Minnesota. The framed prints are wall-ready with a ‘sandwich’ of UV plexiglass, the matted / over-mounted print, and a protective backboard behind the print. The backboard also includes our descriptive-print label on the verso, as the provenance label on the verso of the print will not be visible. We use coated stainless steel picture-hanging wire, attached to the frame with low-profile hardware so that the frame is ready to hang on the wall.
This print is authenticated and stamped by the Imogen Cunningham Trust with Imogen's de-bossed signature and chop below the print. The chop is composed of three Chinese characters representing the name 'Imogen' spelled phonetically, Im-o-gen. These Chinese characters translate to "Ideas Without End." On the verso, the print holds the Imogen Cunningham Trust provenance label with its unique identification number.
